Florence, headed south. We reach Bagno a Ripoli, a small town in the low rolling hills of Tuscany, home of Chianti wine.

Here we meet Maurizio Ristori, owner of FRM Company: “ We have been manufacturing precision mechanical components and hydraulic pumps since 1974. Our strength is our capacity of producing small series and single pieces. We have a flexible corporate structure”. He continues: “We mainly work for electro-medical, textile and molding sectors. Yet, we have virtually no limit- we also produce gears for hang gliders and transmission components”.

“We needed to insert and extract components inside our big hobbing machines,” He says. “We were looking for a versatile equipment that could handle the loads speedy and safely”

Mod. 01B5P is a counterbalance crane with 360° pivoting jib, max cap 500 kg, max height 2.804 mm and jib max outreach 1360mm. It is equipped with a pendant control station that activates a single lifting speed and an infinite adjustment lowering speed.

“We sought an alternative to jib cranes. We wanted something that could have been moved around our factory, on different working stations. We are happy with what we found”

“This is an example of how our cranes can fit diverse working environments”– explains Marco Marabini, Flex Lifting sales director “With the safety of the operators as a priority”
